OK, so I got a bit of a pat on the back yesterday! coming home, my wife posted on facebook that this picture had been shown on the BBC Scotland site. I thought that was AMAZING! I punted it in and thought nothing of it because BA ignored one of my previous pictures that I sent in.

HOWEVER!

Last night, on the evening news, they did a slot on the Nacreous clouds on BBC Scotland News.... and they led with MY PICTURE!!!!! I am so chuffed about it. I was grinning like a cheshire cat!
Well done you.

Leopard

D4S_3162-XL.jpg

Crossed one off my bucket list when I enjoyed an absolutely amazing photo safari in Zambia Africa last November.

Lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra, hippo, monkey, baboon, elephant, impala, buffalo and an amazing variety of birds, all wild in their natural habitat without fences or interference from people, is a sight to see for anyone with an interest in wildlife.

I justified the expense by telling myself and my wife that it would be a once in a lifetime trip…now I can't wait for a return trip to Africa.

Peter, very nice. With the right front paw up, there is a sense of motion and his face and eyes a sense of menace and danger.

Lovely capture. The eyes just pop. Can't ever see myself heading off to Africa, but looking forward to seeing more of your out of Africa shots.

I expect you were, well done Ken! Haven't seen those clouds but they form too far north to see from here

Hmm, in that case I expect you poured it back into the bottle when you'd finished. :)

Hi Ish. Apparently they form at roughly 70,000 feet but need a particular atmospheric condition to form. Very rare so very much right place, right time.

Another from NYC. Comments always appreciated.

Big spot on your sensor / lens ?. Bottom center. Not a problem though. Still a great shot :)
[doublepost=1454589268][/doublepost]The Garage at Heritage Village. An old volt meter caught my attention. It was dark inside, so I used the flash. I don't usually use a flash.
