Another from yesterday. Soon after the pic I posted yesterday the sky cleared and the late afternoon sun cast a warm glow on the tops of the snow covered trees.
Well I like it. I'd prefer some snow to all the rain we've been having.Another from yesterday. Soon after the pic I posted yesterday the sky cleared and the late afternoon sun cast a warm glow on the tops of the snow covered trees.
[Edit: this pic is less processed than it may appear. This was the most amazing light I have ever experienced. The color difference between the fence in the bottom of the pic and the trees in the upper part of the pic was actually what I was seeing when I shot it. I didn't desaturate the bottom of the pic in post. Non-photographer friends sent me pics they took as they noticed the light and felt compelled to pull out their phones and shoot something. I'm actually bummed I wasn't able to capture it better.]

Since we like snow....reflection flare is a bit overdone but the morning light was great.Comments always appreciated.

Thanks Peter - I took the WB from snow in the shade - it was pretty golden light quite early in the day. Must admit it does look a tad warm though. Cheers. I'll cool it down a touch and repost.I like the flare but would check the WB another scotsman...it's looking a tad warm on my end. Still, nicely done.
