Wow! that is a really nice contrast. Something about the textures and the little frog. Nice!

Peter, very nice. With the right front paw up, there is a sense of motion and his face and eyes a sense of menace and danger.

Lovely capture. The eyes just pop. Can't ever see myself heading off to Africa, but looking forward to seeing more of your out of Africa shots.

Thanks very much Guys.

AFB, I understand a photo safari trip to Africa is not for everyone but if it's something you want to do but feel you can't for whatever reason, I say: "Dream the dream". I first got hooked on the idea of a trip to Africa 40 years ago. It's a very long time to wait and plan for something but if it's something you truly want, well…better late than never.

Family life is complicated for me mate. An autistic daughter means holidays don't happen. Due to some other issues we are dealing with at the moment even getting out with the camera is an impossibility at the moment.

Sorry to hear that AFB but still...you gotta dream the dream. In the meantime, keep those shots from inside your home coming. You never know what could come your way and land in your yard.

Sorry to hear all that AFB. :(

I was about to post a photo but the links seem to be down on my site so I'll try again tomorrow.

Anything we can do to make you feel better?

I can understand your desire, I worked there for about 10 years and enjoyed all the wildlife.

Like it bhtwo, lovely rich colours but perhaps the highlights/reflected light on the wood is a little strong? Possibly recover in post?
[doublepost=1454673762][/doublepost]I like the different coloured lights on this. The "stars" produced by the 16-35mm lens are among my favourites. Comments always appreciated.
