A photo from July that I took while leading a workshop in the Dolomites. I don't always get the chance to take out my own gear for some shooting during workshops, but it's nice to have something to show everyone afterwards when I do.

That is really lovely. Great leading lines up to the sun and the whole scene is just perfect.

Not a selfie then....like the free space, movement and the crowd focussing on the rider.

Sticking with B&W...Comments always appreciated.

God no! Never had the guts to go that high! These guys are crazy. I was chuffed with how it came out considering it was on a P&S...

I wanted the crowd and open space to convey how high these guys were going. I mean they were easily 20feet in the air. One guy was doing backflips but he was rotating too fast for me to get a good capture.

Did you take that on a tripod? It is so so sharp! I could cry. I want to take pictures like that... All except for the Nikon bit though... ;-)

No way... Too shy now

Bird in flight. A skill I'm yet to master.
I love the contrast of the dark background and well lit subject.
Wonderful shot.

Thanks AFB and you'll get there. You know how to do it so all that's left is practice, patience, persistence and having the time to wade through the inevitable missed shots.

Lol... This is an archive shot. The one from yesterday was rotten so gave up trying to put lipstick on the pig.

This is a shot taken on an A7 with the Zeiss Jena 135mm. Gorgeous colour.

We are back to snow flurries here so no sunshine for me today.

Lol... It was a brief day of spring Sunshine.

Thanks Ken, hand-held with the Canon 20mm f2.8 prime. Not supposed to be the sharpest knife in the canteen but I like it.
