By no means a great eagle shot . But I'm finally glad I got one of these guys even though I wasn't looking for them .
Having finally escaped from the clutches of the medical profession , I decided to take my camera out last Sunday for some local winter shots by the Hudson . Lots of ice floes that morning and several were occasionally populated by seagulls . But WAY out there's these 2 dark blobs on a floe . Eventually one took off and came closer so I took this shot . Taken with an 18-135 @ 135 and cropped big time . Best I could do . Of course , when I'm out looking for them with my 100-400 they're nowhere to be found .

That’s the photographers curse! Always the wrong lens to hand!

Product (Daniel Wellington watch) collaboration shot. Yes, it is a Composite Image I created for an Instagramer... However, the arm, watch, iPhone 6, and Lake backdrop is the original shot. The ducks, birds, boat/fisherman were added during post processing. I also took the pictures of the ducks on the lake that day. The collaboration shot required both watch and bracelet to be displayed in the picture. The model forgot the bracelet at home... so I had to Photoshop the bracelet in as well from another picture we took on the same items. Just wanted to share... since I had a lot of fun working on this project... and enjoy the responses (1847 likes and counting) on the image.

That's a unique Out-Of-Bounds (OOB) creation and Flickr even has a group dedicated to OOB https://www.flickr.com/groups/oob/
Again very nice picture!

Thanks... but just want to make it clear that I seen a similar post, and used the idea. Just checked, and now the post has 1955 likes and counting... surpassing portraits I've done with her. Glad people are appreciating the picture. Also, thanks for the link... This should give me ideas on upcoming projects.:)

Weather's a little warmer -- temporarily -- and the geese are feeling frisky, honking and chasing each other around. Signs of Spring being just around the corner.....

Until Sunday night!

Heather? Very pretty.

Oh hey! Big surprise, another pink flower from me. Have you all figured out what my favorite color is yet?

Pantone Living Coral 16-1546?

Beautiful as ever! Keep it up.

Heather is about the only colour in our garden at this time of the year. Looking forward to Magnolia and Pieris tree doing something a bit more interesting. And the Lavender if it survives!

Of course I could always buy my flowers in, but Mrs AFB doesn't like cut flowers. That alone has paid for my 200-500mm over 20 years of marriage!
