A photo my brother took on his travels in Bariloche, Argentina.

A follow-on to yesterday. The original police and fire station buildings seen in my walk around the historic downtown area of Sanford. According to their FB page, the restaurant in the Old Jailhouse will be opening soon. May have to check it out. View attachment 821183

I was wondering if that were a restaurant or an actual firehouse! Really interesting......

Sure looks like it to me -- a couple of years ago they destroyed a lot of the trees around the little lake here and that photo looks very much like what I saw in our sadly damaged trees back then.

Historic buildings, retaining the original 1887 facia. I don't believe a modern firetruck would fit in that opening. Not certain on the ground floor but the lofts have been converted to a unique Airbnb. The Jailhouse has been under reconstruction to become a restaurant, using the jailhouse theme. It should be opening soon.

That would be a fun place to stay as an Air BNB! And, yes, the very facade of the place just shouts "Restaurant" to me..... That will be a fun place to eat, too, when the restaurant is ready.

Beavers are pretty indecisive—they start on a tree and then quit. Pobably dad beavers—starting projects that they don’t finish.
