This isn't a good shot but there are interesting bits. First, it's at 600mm and gives an example of why long lenses can be great for landscapes (though 600mm is challenging with shimmer and heat). A little focus stacking or smaller aperture (and a tripod, which I didn't have with me) and those mountains really pop with distance compression. They aren't that close looking in real life. The next thing is I took this image because I was trying to get a count of Bald Eagles ice fishing. If you look along near the intersection of water and land there are 8 (that I count). This lake gets dozens each year (100 were counted in a 5 minute scan recently, apparently) and a few breed there. The nests are absolutely massive (as are the birds).
