Not the sharpest of photos. This is something I struggle with; any inputs would be welcome. Snow moon, February 9, 2020.

Go for it! I’m always looking to learn a new technique.
Yes, please, another how-to thread!!!! I like this and it's right up my alley....

Knew you couldn't resist...

Played around with this yesterday during the storm. Tried to cheer myself up after watching Scotland's performance in 6-Nations (rugby) on Saturday. Again...

I've just had the most fun trying this rainbow thing out! Easy and addictive! I fortunately had a 62mm circular polarizer lens and so was in business, once I got the hang of things!

That’s pretty awesome. What lens and settings did you use???

Thank you! Sony 90mm f/2.8 macro lens...... Don't recall all the settings off-hand but I think f/11. Used autofocus for most of the images, including this one. I'll have to look back at the file to see the exact settings.

Am repeating some of this because the darned merged posts things always mess me up!

OK, found the info:

Sony A7R IV, 90mm f/2.8 macro lens, 90 mm focal length, f11, 1/100 sec, ISO 160. Subject was positioned very closely to a freestanding light source and stood on top of a plastic box to get the maximum benefit from the lighting. Food coloring was a mix of yellow and red and the bubbles were caused when I added a couple of drops of glycerin in preparation for adding more food coloring. Liked the effect so snapped a couple of shots.....

I could use some help in doing moon shots, can you give the settings you used? Thanks.

Set your ISO depending on the brightness of the moon, light sensitivity of your camera and if it is APS-C or full-frame. I used 100. Shutter speed was 1/500 and above. If you also want to know metering, I have shots from both Spot and Evaluative. That's all. ?‍♂️
