Thanks for the ridicule , it's a dirty job , but someone had to do it . Yeah , the flare's not THAT bad , but it's still there , and irritates me no end. I'd hoped to use the image for one of the pages on a holiday calendar I put together for friends/family yearly . I'll move a copy of the RAW image into the folder of potential calendar pix so I can Photoshop the flare out in the event no better images come up .
A different Anise Swallowtail butterfly, again from 2008. This one landed on the cowling of my car making for a dramatic backdrop.
