A photographers studio in Turner Valley, AB. Still part of the 2004 set and that original Olympus 3.2MP camera. Other than a 50% scale as it came from the camera.

Um....AFB, just in case your question wasn't being facetious, the arena in the photo is New York City's famous Madison Square Garden. The tall pointy building nearby is also pretty famous, the Empire State Building.

This is a really cool view of NYC and its landmarks, and also gives a sense of how much is jam-packed into a relatively small piece of land.....

Yes it’s a cool view and photo. But although I recognise the Empire State Building, I’d not have recognised the arena. New York is one place in America I’d like to visit.

It's a fascinating, fast-paced city with (under normal circumstances) so much to see and to do! What's interesting about Madison Square Garden is that it is actually built right on top of Penn Station (a major train/subway station serving the city, the suburbs and other places). When attending a concert in the city one time, a friend and I actually stayed in New Jersey, in a close-in suburb (hotel rooms considerably less expensive than right in Manhattan!), and took the train into NYC, which deposited us at Penn Station, and when we emerged to the surface streets, we were right there outside of Madison Square Garden, in the heart of NYC/Manhattan. We got in line to grab a cab to our actual destination. It was fun, but a bit overwhelming, too! I wouldn't have done it by myself, but with a friend/companion, everything worked out well.

If you attend an event at Madison Square Garden, they always welcome the crowd with the statement....”Welcome to MSG, the world‘s most famous arena”...... I was taking the piss a little, since I always found that statement a little pompous.

Took this one a while back, not sure exactly which part of the trip this was from as the camera's CMOS is long dead so it erroneously reports as 1980. Took either going to or coming from Montreal.

Camera was a Canon Powershot A710 IS from 2006, so certainly not the best unit... Reliable however, went into a lake and survived it. Interesting to see how it handles these scenes. ISO 176, 1/60. 5.8-34.8mm lens
