Arctic air. It's incredible how fast it can swollen its plumage. This one is missing one claw too, and it easily slips on the wire.

Realizing that many of the regulars here have problems viewing parallel stereo, I have somewhat refrained from posting them here. Making an exception today. This from the 2021 stereo slide set. This is a parallel image.
Fairly good viewing instructions here:

If you're interested the entire 2021 slide set is at this link:

Note: Click on first image, then click on the full screen icon in the tool bar to get a nice black background. Advance or retreat with screen or Keyboard arrows. Once you get the first in focus should be easy to advance through without losing the focus.

Any comments good, bad or otherwise please send me a PM rather than cluttering the thread with something that is of tangential interest only.

That is VERY cool…. I found it easier to see if you get the images sized to be relatively big on the screen, then make yourself go cross eyed, then release yours eyes slowly back to normal as you move your head closer to the screen - stop when you get an image in the middle.

Thanks. Super low tech no special gear or viewing apparatus required.

Easiest way for many is to get close to the screen with the nose on the center line and looking straight ahead, then back the head away until the image comes in as stereo.

I am one who can't see those, but I hope you aren't avoiding posting them on my account. Just because I have weird eyesight doesn't mean everyone else should miss out! ?

I am in a group where we had a self portrait prompt for today that was masquerade.
I had to have a professional headshot taken at work. Going through all the images I hated everyone. I’d post the one I chose but they aren’t my work plus I’d hate it to be on here. Seeing my own image makes me cringe. I prefer to be the other side of the lens.

it’s amazing how many bad headshots get taken by professionals. The last one or two times my husband had them done at work he had me redo them for him.

Just a general observation that these are not everyones cup of tea. That's why I offered the link rather than posting one every three or four days. Plus once you get the first shot in stereo it is pretty easy to advance through the set without having to refocus.

Agree. Not everyone likes photos of birds, squirrels, mysterious abstracts or whatever, either, but I continue to post those. That said, no worries, though -- no selfies coming from me! For various reasons that's just not my thing.

I can't really enjoy or appreciate stereo-type images because of amblyopia in one eye, making my two eyes' vision different from each other. Cataracts now slowly developing doesn't help matters much, either.

That aside, yes, we all have our own preferences in what we choose to shoot and share -- that's what makes this subforum and thread so interesting.
