haha, I try, but portraits=weak spot for me...
It's too bad I didn't have the nifty fifty for this shot. Shutter speeds were terrible.
Canon Rebel XT
ISO 1600

As a former DirecTv installer I must say that wiring job is atrocious!
Nice. I tried to take this exact picture yesterday, but wasn't pleased with the angles. You've captured it nicely.
Well done.
Thanks Doylem, it was a very cloudy afternoon, threatening to pour down with rain, but the occasional burst of sunlight made some interesting lighting conditions.Love the sky... which, combined with direct sunlight, really brings out the texture and colour of the stonework...
Your biggest issue here is that the crop doesn't go with the pose (the hands behind the head). You might find that it looks better with more room around your model - some say that you should never crop elbows. I'm not sure how true this is, but hey... Otherwise, if you tried the same style of image, but with the pose changed to folded arms, you might have something.
Thanks! I never understand when people complain about ISO 800/1600. It's perfectly fine to me. And the XT's 1600 is even worse than the XSi's 1600! It was handheld, when you zoom in more you can see movement reflected in the lights on the tree but in web size you can't see it.WOW. ISO 1600 with ur XT? That is pretty awesome, my XSi sucks more at ISO 800 even. Was this handheld? I think it turned out great for what you had to work with anyhow.

Mine for today:
WOW this is an awesome find in an outstanding scene.
I am a sucker for rust and things lost in time and space.
You did a great job here.
One of the roller coaster that I didn't go on at Knotts Berry Farm.
That looks scary and fun. I love the composition.
Jaguar? Really?!Why thank you.
Instead of actually going on the rides, I just took photos of them. Jaguar! was the biggest one that I went on...
