I really like that. Was the countryside view really like that or have you photoshopped it? It is a nice picture of trying to escape the rat race and get to the countryside. Lovely.

Is that a humidity gauge?Spotted this interesting reflection recently on the highly polished black fall-board of my 'pride & joy' Sauter piano.

Well, the tree on the hill off in the distance is not quite generic in my mind. It's unexpected. So for me, it makes it all the more interesting and unique.Just a generic shot in an alleyway.View attachment 610630
Is that a humidity gauge?
I am fascinated by that sound board. It looks like a grand piano tipped on it's side. So what function if any does that gauge have. It looks like a knob in the right corner. Is that just a bracket or is that a valve? Does that stay exposed all the time or is there a cover for the hammers. I don't know if I would want to cover it.Yes, a humidity gauge - a special feature on the MasterClass series. All the range of this manufacturer (along with Steingraeber & Sohn) are perhaps one of the best guarded piano secrets - in terms of musicality and quality.
It wasn't until some time after I bought mine, that I read that Steve Jobs also had one. And if anyone recognized and strived for excellence it was certainly S.J.
Nice warm colours.Warm it up
For "just a generic shot" it has quite a bit going for it. But you know that. Great composition. I like your studio work, but was pleasantly surprised to see this departure from your usual stuff. Thanks for sharing
