What about the Sony vignette and soft image quality? ;)

I guess the Leica is inside as it's not man enough for the cold!

This was the leica actually :p... :) vignette was added but the film effect applied...

Lol! Like it would make a difference! Currently trying to decide between 2. I'll have it up tonight.

Obviously I'm too young to remember film!

If I remember right my first digital camera was a 3.2 megapixel point and shoot...

7.2mp Sony was mine.. always thought photography was too expensive a hobby for me...

I was right! o_O

it's actually an additional snowflake
@oblomow was feeling generous in adding some more iced debris

Technically I believe mine was a 1.3mp camera phone. Felt very modern!

was it a webcam attached to a phone maybe?

My first digital was a massive 300,000 pixels :p, about the turn of the century, and I think it had enough onboard memory for about 20 shots. I can't remember much else except that it was a goldie colour, and the dog stole it and ran up the garden with number 1 son in hot pursuit.
We still have the dog...

Cheers :)

And number 1 son? We know the dog - your apparent priority to reassure us - was ok, but what fate did number 1 son suffer? :)

I think my first dabble with a camera phone was a Motorola razr. I remember thinking this'll never catch on... Ha ha ha how wrong was I?!?! I think that boasted a VGA camera...

Oh, I see what you mean... I meant we still have the dog but not that camera.
Number 1 (step)son is alive and breeding thank you very much :)

Ah stepson... Explains why the dogs welfare was your priority... :)
You're walking a thin line here :p
My stepson and I get on fine; he didn't have a father figure in his upbringing and I've helped him a lot since meeting his mum.
In fact I've helped him so much that he advises us on everything, so much so that we call him 'dad' now (behind his back of course).

Cheers :)
