Fantastic image with a striking composition. The bit of land that juts out to in the foreground breaks up the diagonals and helps to bring your eye to the brightest part of the image. The graduated dark transition from the foreground and from the clouds at the top help to frame the image and create a great balance.

This granite erratic has been deposited on top of this rather large second granite erratic, presumably millions of years ago. The larger rock was probably the size of a Ford Fiesta.

I never thought of trying B&W, thanks, will have a go sometimeOooo.... that is screaming out for a black and white conversion, drop the exposure and pull up the highlights to make it look scary... I dont know how you keep the heid walking round there of a night! very intimidating!

Oooo.... that is screaming out for a black and white conversion, drop the exposure and pull up the highlights to make it look scary... I dont know how you keep the heid walking round there of a night! very intimidating!
