So breaking the mold a bit with a stereo pair intended for parallel viewing. Old school stereo imaging that requires no special camera or glasses. You may need to move back from the screen or adjust scale to view comfortably. If there is any general interest I could start a special thread.

A footbridge over the muskeg at the south-east end of Beauvais Lake, taken last week. Separation was about 2 feet.

They can't get onto the bird table :D

Unfortunately I am having to use my FZ2000 as every time I raise the Z 50 / Sigma 50-500mm up the rats spot it and run ;)

Cheers :)

Hugh

I would not be using a camera to shoot them, I’d be shooting them with a gun #vermin

RatMan came today and laid down some bait boxes but a UK legal air rifle is next on the list ;)

Cheers :)

That’s the kind of reply I was hoping for.

If you don’t mind me asking, what rifle you looking at?

I like encouraging wild animals, but food for birds normally end up getting eaten by the animals we don’t want in our gardens, so this puts me off feeding birds etc

No idea at the moment, but I'm in the UK and the law is strict. I'm hoping the bait works and it doesn't become necessary but I can legally own and use an air rifle for vermin, but nothing more without obtaining a gun licence.

Cheers :)

Just got myself a macro kit for my Lensbaby, so all I need now are some flowers and some of your talent ;)

Cheers :)

Hugh

Ah, the corresponding board for the Go stones you posted a while ago?

One of my rare usuable attempts to take a picture of the jackdaws ubiqituous here:

Bingo! You nailed it! I wondered if anyone would make the connection..... I took the shot one day last week but then never got around to posting it and today since I hadn't yet shot anything new thought, "ah, yes, time for this one to make an appearance!" and posted it.
