Thanks for the infos :1.4x teleconverter better than 2x I guess for the light
I've decided that starting this year, although much of the EXIF info is also available now in the "Media" section that I'll at least provide the name of the camera used and the lens, plus any additional devices (i.e., TC, Extension Tube(s), closeup lens, etc.).
Yes, 1.4x TC is better because as discussed in a separate thread it only loses one stop, whereas a 2x TC would take away more. On a bright sunny day, not an issue, even with a relatively slow lens, but on a cloudy day, it's definitely problematic. If I owned and used a prime 400mm or 600mm telephoto lens I probably would also buy a 2x TC but that's not gonna happen, so I'll stick with my slower telephoto zooms and the 1.4x TC.
