you've been away for quite some time. or am I mistaken?
anyway. good to see you again, and happy new year to you too.

Thanks so much for recognizing ! It really brought a smile to my face. That is true. Really busy with life and I still am. So I am not visiting macrumors very often anymore. I still love photography. Here is another one.

Thanks for the infos :1.4x teleconverter better than 2x I guess for the light
I've decided that starting this year, although much of the EXIF info is also available now in the "Media" section that I'll at least provide the name of the camera used and the lens, plus any additional devices (i.e., TC, Extension Tube(s), closeup lens, etc.).

Yes, 1.4x TC is better because as discussed in a separate thread it only loses one stop, whereas a 2x TC would take away more. On a bright sunny day, not an issue, even with a relatively slow lens, but on a cloudy day, it's definitely problematic. If I owned and used a prime 400mm or 600mm telephoto lens I probably would also buy a 2x TC but that's not gonna happen, so I'll stick with my slower telephoto zooms and the 1.4x TC.

one doesn’t stop seeing. one doesn’t stop framing. it doesn’t turn off and turn on. it’s on all the time. // annie leibovitz

this is so true for me. i take about a hundred photos in my mind during my daily walks. i haven't taken this camera very far yet, but it's my next obsession (ironically i have a different film stock in it, as i am saving this one to make sure that this camera works properly, having already had one film camera that didn't focus properly).
