On more than one occasion, I’ve thought of jumping to FujiFilm due to the SOOC JPGs and classic filters. I hear folks say that they put a ton of work into those results, and even the X-trans sensor is supposed to behave more like film did with the extra green pixels. They even do the classic dials. Very tempting for me, even though I never owned/operated a classic film camera.
this is an actual film camera. but i assume you know that and are just commenting on digital fujis replicating their film stocks. ? I have Fuji Superia 400 in this camera right now, which I haven't liked as much in other test rolls than the Portra 400, but the Portra has a massive price increase, so I'm going to hoard it a bit for vacations and other things. Until I know this camera works well I'm not using expensive film!

I was relating a bit with how they’ve taken what they know with film and are doing something different with sensors. Most cameras use a traditional sensor design, but the X-trans is a different take entirely. Now, does it actually make a difference?
