On another site there is a weekly theme (not a competition, but participants shoot something within that week to match the topic). This past week's was "the letter N." One day I broke a fingernail and reached for a nail file to fix it....and the lightbulb went off. Hey! The letter N!! Immediately pulled together some things and did a quick setup near the window with good natural light and fired off a couple of shots. Decided I liked this one the most:

Similar to a Center Split Diopter filter
hmm, i had to look that up. mine is a tilty lens, although technically there is no shift to it as with a traditional tilt-shift. but the lens wobbles a bit so you can tilt the focal point away from the sensor plane, resulting in the nontraditional blur pattern. but not a filter added to a lens.

Ah, yes, the Center Split Diopter is an add-on to an existing lens (w/o tilt function, unless one gets a hand-held hold over filter type), yours is an all-in-one.

Pfft, windows in an office? I enjoy cold concrete basement walls and the occasional demon cricket.
shhh… i have windows on all four sides.

but it is super cold in the winter because it’s above the garage. it has its own hvac system but because the desk is right by the stairs to get up there it is always drafty at my desk. but that’s where the ethernet jack is!

I used to live in a network hard-wired house. Needed wireless, got an Access-Point. Plugged that up to the Ethernet, and freedom.
oh we good wifi in the house but i work off a nas and prefer to be hardwired. plus i like the setup of the room. it’s actually my studio where i also shoot. it’s just a few months that it’s uncomfortable. like now when it gets below 20° at night. by march it’s okay. ?
