I am intrigued by shooting Sunny 16 - been a metering guy. My next out and about I may give this a go.

I see multiple YouTube'rs shooting film with their Leicas using Rule of f/16, and I am like - whatever!

Framed Ocean Beach photo.jpeg

I made this photograph at Ocean Beach, in San Francisco. I cut mats and frame my own prints. And make my own frames from various hardwoods for color prints (or, from lengths of black gallery stock I cut/glue/clamp for B&W prints). I made this particular frame from Maple and Cherry woods. I still need to purchase glass from a store, though. :)

I tried making a print mat with a straight-edge and hand held mat cutter - it ain't easy.

Yeah, that's pretty tough keeping the cut straight and at a consistent bevel angle. I tired it once and then went with a cutter platform that keeps the cutter head on a guide bar, between two settable stops. Still takes some concentration to not mess it up, though.
