Everyone loves a good sunset, but pay no mind to a beautiful moonset. At least the birds appreciate it.

At first I thought this shot of Virginia Falls would not be recoverable, see yesterdays sermon. However it came out as good or better than some prints I made from it back in 1975. Original scan shown below.

Virginia Falls, Glacier National Park, MT
Process damaged Vericolor II film, Schneider Xenar 127mm lens, ƒ-16@1/10sec.

I’m sorry @tizeye for the incoming joke,
but you know that there has been only person before who could do that?😁
He taught me, but don't tell anybody or post it on the Internet.

But seriously, it was the new boardwalk there technically walking over the water, but walking on the water sounds better. Actually I missed a photo op several months ago following a hurricane where the dock was under water. Kept waiting for it to recede but missed the day when almost level with the dock still below water and feet would not be submerged. Next day the dock was about 3" above the water.

Haha. I promise not tell anyone😁

I guess that it would have been a boardwalk or similar. And you were right, walking on water sounded better😊
Patience is a good thing. We will see tomorrow the opposite perspective for your image.

California has been getting pounded with Pacific storms lately. In addition to the wind, rain and snow, a huge swell hit us yesterday. I'll post a couple over the next few days, starting with this one from around dawn, when the light was still low and flat at La Jolla Cove.
