Thank you! The vase of flowers was on the kitchen counter near the window and I noticed how the one tulip was giving a sneak peek into its innards, so decided that this would make an interesting shot. Glad you like it!

This was the set-up, looking at yesterday's photo from the opposite direction. Actually, this one was on the way out, but retracing for the return is when two gators were present. That is when it dawned on me that that was at the mid access point of the new boardwalk where Bobcat Lane formerly was, and technically still is for vehicles, a dead end. Knowing where the gators were on the shoreline, realized all I had to do was exit the boardwalk and approach that point of the shoreline for the close up.
I love this. Don't know if you can see the optical illusion, but it almost looks like a fuzzy beer mug.
Continuing a little tour of our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in 2015 is this hot of the valley and surrounding Mt ridges that I like with the low cloud deck

I think I have a similar shot from 2010. Is Longs Peak shrouded in clouds on the right side?
