Traveling south of Ouray Colorado on the “Million Dollar Highway” some of my favorite Colorado scenery. Second photo is the sign describing the development of this road over time between Ouray and Silverton for the silver mines and other commodities.
hp5+ pushed one stop....developed and scanned at home by me...no....of course this isn't a darkroom print, so i know it doesn't count for some of you, but i'm actually pretty proud of myself that i've learned how to develop at home and work with the not-always-easy process of home scanning. just because it isn't a darkroom print doesn't make it "less than." there is room in life for multiple processes.

Did you know that Canada Geese yawn? I was shooting pictures yesterday of this guy as he placidly floated on the lake in front of me. To my surprise, he slowly and soundlessly opened his mouth wider and wider, had a nice, satisfying yawn, then gently closed it again as I stared, astonished. First time I've ever seen that!
