I've returned to shooting M43 for a while now, as I have really taken to prime shooting. M43 has a wonderful lineup of relatively affordable fast primes, and the IBIS of the bodies helps make them easier to shoot with, especially for long exposures. A couple such primes I've recently picked up are the Panasonic 9mm 1.7, and the Olympus 17mm 1.8--the latter was used for the above. It's a fantastic renderer, IMO.

Not only that, but 2 children of the Darmok household just got their first ILCs--my daughter, an E-LP2, and my son, an E-LP1. I managed to find both for great prices, barely used at all. My daughter already had a camera so she was less enthusiastic, but I got the desired reaction from my son, who appears to be a natural when it comes to framing and composition. He's also a ruthless culler of photos. Where my daughter will come back with a hundred shots, he'll maybe have 10. 😂

Quite the brightest I have ever photographed, possibly the brightest I have ever seen. Day before yesterday at a nearby shopping centre/hospital. A simple snap on my 15PM, cropped to square otherwise untouched.

Been quite a year of rainbows so far! Including several with clear second order bows.

No actually! Those are stock on the Mk7.5 Golf. I think they look pretty good for being OEM

Oh yeah they are nice. I have the Mk7 and I bought the year before they updated the lights. The 7.5s look so nice.

New kit entirely, or just lens or just body? Congrats either way! Did your old gear break to put you on hold?

Just a new body. My old camera (a PEN E-PL 5) spontanously had an electronics failure early in December.
