A man after my own heart! My garden is best viewed at night. If you want to take a picture then, here are the suggested settings.
f36, 1/3200, ISO100 flash off.
I'd even go so far as to throw on an ND filter just to make sure.
I know - it actually felt like I was confessing a dirty secret when I said I have a friend who supports Everton.
Those 'moon phases' are actually just the light bulbs inside the building.
I like the curved version - it looks like you could slide down it.
I dunno, some kind of plant in my garden.

Ish to the rescue. That makes sense as I have a Hawthorn tree in that spot recovering from an over zealous neighbour who mistakenly chopped it down when having his new fence installed. He kindly replaced it with a plum tree when I pointed out that I wasn't happy about it.

Don't know what it was like before PP, but as it stands now there's a nice spread of light and shade, with strong colours - really nice photo!

Basically the sky was pretty blue already. I just added a graduated filter in LR after watching a video. Something I haven't used before.
Thanks, I just picked up a new 10-18mm lens for my a6000 and wanted to test it out. Was sure lucky to get this sunset that night.
Derelict Cottage
Along the beach in Crystal Cove, near Newport Beach are a bunch of decrepit cottages. Some of them have been restored and are rented out for vacationers. Some are still awaiting restoration.
The sky wasn't particularly friendly when I took this shot. I'll have to go back for better lighting. Salvaged as best as I could in PP.

Very nice. I might have gone B&W though. Your photography travels are far wider than mine.

problem is I've traveled quite a bit, but only in my past few trips did I start taking photography seriously and have a decent camera with me.
