hey all

been absent for a while, 'tis the summer in Greece too. haven't snapped much these past few weeks, but I've dwelved in various other things, one of which is sketching. I got me a wacom pen tablet (intuos pro M touch) and I am loving it. I wish I had come up with the pose out of thin air, but it was looked upon and redone (not traced). shading is all mine

Nice to see you back!

My drawing talents are decidedly lacking, so kudus to anyone who can.

Nice.

Went to Brighton for the day today with Mrs MacRy and Bob the dog. The weather was beautiful but not great for photography as it was brilliant midday sun. Caught this guy doing his stuff as I walked by and quite liked it. Didn't get many keepers today though unfortunately. I'm obviously more used to the gloom of the subway ;)

This is a great shot, but to me it just screams for color.

Meh, I'm still trying my hand at pin-up style. These are my first attempts…thoughts?

I like it overall, but I think the woman's facial expression could've been better.

Who says you need full-frame in 2014? The dynamic range of this photo from the X-E2 is outstanding.

Tour de France

Feeling very proud of being a Yorkshireman right now. I think we came good on our promise to host one of the best Grand Departs ever. I watched Stage 1 in Otley, but concentrated on watching with my eyes, rather than through a viewfinder. Went to Sheffield for Stage 2 yesterday and did the camera bit.

Allez!

Empty Piccadilly Station

Blimey - that never happens. What did you do, break in at night? :D

Colleague from work went yesterday and ended up getting hit by a bike. Apparently there was a lack of barriers at some stages.
