Townend, in Troubeck, with the 20mm lens (which I generally seem to use just for cramped interiors)...

Gorgeous weird light/clouds pattern over Glasgow few weeks ago. Thought it was beautiful.

An approaching thunderstorm early in the morning.

Two really beautiful shots. Well done Ken and Chris.

I hope not. I hate popcorn! (but yes it does a bit doesn't it).

Who doesn't like popcorn! I'll have to check the forum rules but I think you could get banned for an admission like that.

Kind of a double post, but also kind of a follow up to a previous post I made in this thread. Haven't moved into our new house yet, but I went back today in the afternoon to shoot the old swing again. Took my Leica M and 50 lux lens (only mentioning it because I think Kenoh has been expressing some Leica lust and I've been thinking about shooting the swing with both the Leica M and my Nikon at the same time and starting a thread showing comparisons :))

First shot is at f/1.4. The second is at f/2.8. The original was with a Nikon 24-70 @ f/2.8. The one shot at f/1.4 is a bit "dreamy" for lack of a better word--much of the swing is out-of-focus but the grass is *really* out of focus. Lends the pic the fuzziness of childhood memories. In the f/2.8 shot the swing is *mostly* in focus with the exception of the front corner. The light is obviously different for both shots taken today compared to the previous shot I posted.

Hope you can forgive the double images. Variations on a theme though :)

Thanks!

I went out today and shot it again on a tripod with my Leica and Nikon. Got there later than I hoped and I don't think the light was optimal. Haven't reviewed the images yet. Going to be easier to find the right light once we've moved in :)
