At my cat's house
I haven’t posted here in a while, but I wanted to share this shot because it shows another forum member, Erin Babnik (Phrasikleia on this forum), teaching a photography workshop in the Dolomites last week. I joined the group on assignment to take photos behind the scenes. It was really fun to be able to tag along on this workshop to some amazing locations and to watch Erin share her expertise with the group. I took a lot of photos during that week, but I think this one is my favorite.

Amazing shot Kallisti, was this the 810 or the 500? Detail is remarkable. Unfortunately, you missed the OSX leopard cover shot by a couple years. :)

Thanks :) D500. Haven't shot a crop sensor for years since I was using a D300. The D500 was a champ for this outing. When pixel-peeping it has a fine grain pattern even at low ISOs. However, this doesn't change much even at relatively high ISOs. Still messing around with it--have been sending many more images to an external editor program for the noise than usual for me, but on the flip side it holds up to higher ISOs better than my Leica and seemingly equal/better than my D810.

Another "cat" pic from the zoo:

Wow! Incredible shot, another winner, really shows off the texture of the lions coat.

Some Icebergs have become grounded just offshore. This photograph was taken at North America's most easterly point, Cape Spear, Newfoundland.

Hello!! It's been a while since I've been here due to work being crazy. But I am finally on holiday and am shutter happy in Norway. Here's one from earlier today. I'm calling it, "See you in Valhalla."

EDIT: I'm having some issues posting so here is the link in the meantime. Apologies!!
