Had another round of shooting the birdies from the entryway to my building -- this time they also went out to the front sidewalk and obligingly posed where there are a couple of decorative pillars and rope that carry out the rustic nautical theme....

Beautiful little boy sparrow. Smear a bit of peanut butter on the top of that post and see who turns up!

Hee, hee!!!! I don't think the neighbors would appreciate that, peanut butter smeared on top of that post! Sometimes people set things down on them temporarily while getting things in-and-out of their cars or if someone has lost something and it is found, the finder will set it on top of one of the posts. There's a pretty floral cloth mask sitting on one of the posts now, actually, that someone must've dropped while coming-or-going...... I always keep my mask on, at least around my neck, until I've gotten in the house and can throw it into my trashcan.

I swear we have or had a nest somewhere around the building, as there are just too many sparrows hanging around here, squawking up a racket! Huh, right now I've got three of 'em dining on the birdseed I've put out on my deck!

Ok, no photo but thought some here might be interested. Kind of hesitant to post this as I don't know if I'm violating some rules. If so, go ahead and remove the post. No, I'm not affiliated with this and no I do not get any kind of monetary reward.

Following up from yesterday, this is the one I referenced where removed the people (where the extra ripple disturbance is in the water - could clean up more). The intention was to show activity along the stream, but not a photo of them taking a photo of themselves in the stream. While they were obviously amateur with heavy shadows across the face and body with no fill flash using a phone camera, the subjects (very fit, tanned and trim) and posing in knee deep water (photographer was standing to gauge depth) was great...but not the intention of my photograph. Was not lost on me that would be a great setting for a professional shoot of a couple with an active lifestyle and their engagement photos. I just don't like taking those types of photos - people/bridezillas complain, while landscapes and wildlife don't. ;)

We went on our trip up into the mountains with our friends and their Jeep Rubicon. The "roads" there are mainly packed dirt paths with many washout areas. Oh, and we brought a chainsaw with us in case a tree(s) had fallen across the path, which often happens. Oh, and I forgot to twist my CP, but I like the reflection in the window of the Jeep.
