Another 360 tiny planet from me, this time in an abandoned factory that is a favourite spot for urban explorers, photographers and graffiti artists. You wouldn't believe how annoyed my inner pedant was while I was there at the layout with the rail cartage tracks not being symmetrical to the roof skylights above! The centre of the rails lines up with the centre of one line of skylights, not the centre peak of the roof... ???

Returning from a real estate shoot, had my painter's pole in the car as I stopped at a county park. Drones are not permitted. A hiker referred to it as the ultimate selfie stick. Raised the camera about 20' above the low bridge that spanned the spring fed stream, marking the end of a tubing run with the exit ramp, and prohibited kayak entry from the opposite direction. Thanks to COVID19, no people!!!, as swimming and tubing are prohibited.

Aphid water bubbles.jpg

This little guy is approx. 3mm in length and I don't have a clue what it is, any ideas anyone?
I'm guessing but it could be either an Aphid variety or a Leaf Beetle, neither of which are quite the same so i'm not sure.

As I was walking out the front door of my condo unit yesterday afternoon, I realized that I had an unexpected photo op right there, as a sparrow was perched on a post on the staircase leading to the next floor. For about a half-hour or so I had a fun time shooting not just one, but a couple of sparrows as they came-and-went. Unfortunately the lighting wasn't good -- I was in the dimness of the entryway of the building while the birds were usually backlighted. Once in a while I did luck out, though, and got one in a position on the open steps, where he could be seen a little more clearly:
