I know I sure got confused by this!! LOL! As Darmok says, easily corrected......
Initially all I wanted to do was to include a portion of his photo, just like Apple fanboy did above when responding to Hough. I don't know how to accomplish such, and ended messing things up. In some other forums there are options for entirely deleting one's posts, but not this one.

Usually select Moderate > Edit on the post and delete/correct the text and Send. If you delete a post, you may want to add the text - deleted - in the post, as the actual post can't be deleted.

A sunset above Trout Lake, CO (three or so weeks ago):

Good morning, another bright, sunny, warm (+28° C / +83° F) summer day already arrived here in Sweden. It's 9 AM and going out for a stroll with the camera today, around the city, or out to the archipelago.

This was from the other day and it's the Non-Violence sculpture in Stockholm City, designed by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd (Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver with its muzzle tied in a knot)

He designed- and made it after the murder of John Lennon. There's approx. 28 sculptures placed in some countries, some contries have multiple ones in different locations. Se wiki-link for more details.

I think it's a great piece of art.

I just quote the message with the photo. Sometimes it includes the picture, sometimes not. But I’ve always assumed it’s to do with how the OP put their photo on here.

Very evocative, we have a copy in Lausanne at the Olympic museum. A similar sculpture but with an artillery piece twisted shut is situated in a park across from the (World Intellectual Property Organisation) WIPO and the famous "broken chair" sculpture. Hmmm gives me an idea there.

I will add the one in Ouchy (Lausanne), CH at Le Musse Olympique. Somewhat appropriate with the Olympics this week and their history of violence during the event. This is the first exhibit as walking towards the entrance to the Museum, which is beautiful with the grounds overlooking Lac Leman (Lake Geneva).

How sweet that you also had one shot of these. And, thanks for the reply

Lucky I had it. Most photos are at home in the States, but currently over here (other side of Lausanne near University) for a few weeks to spoil grandchild. The photo was on the travel hard drive from a prior year visit.

And from a few miles round the coast - Newgale. The ship is a tanker (oil or gas - not sure which). And the people can appear to be refugees from Lowry's Manchester if your mind is in the right place:

Just adding: This was taken with my iPhone 12 Pro, handheld, and has not been retouched or edited. The sea really was that flat.

Another view of the "pigeon penthouse" ...

How old do you think that structure is? Here in the Midwest, there are some very interesting abandoned buildings out in the country. Sometimes it's a barn, other times it's an old farmhouse. I know some folks that like to explore them, but I'm not sure I'd be so brave.

I'm really not sure. It looks to be brick built and rendered, and the roof is either asbestos or more likely corrugated steel.
It could easily have been re-roofed at some point. I'd say possibly mid 20th century, but next time I go past I'll take a closer look.

Cheers :)
