Follow up to yesterday’s sunrise photo. First time seen this but unique windows in plane. Didn’t have the traditional slide to close. Rather a shade less window with a button to press for 6 shades of tint. This was full un-tint, where yesterdays had some tint enhancing the blues.

I think the tinted windows have been around since some time now. The A350s mostly have that always. I like them better than the slides from the older models.

This was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner for trans-Atlantic flight. Being newer, the feature was probably copied from Airbus.

Nah I got confused. The tinted ones are actually 787 exclusive I think. The A350s got mechanical automated shades.
