Wild strawberry plant. It's found all over the interior of Alaska. It does not grow very tall (perhaps 3" to 7"), and the strawberries, while very small in size, are packed with flavor and nutrients. Eat one of these "little things", and you get about three drops of pure strawberry flavor that a store-purchased strawberry cannot surpass.

What is that, Clix Pix? Maybe the reflection of a post and chains?

Yep! :) To be precise, it is the reflection of the white-capped post (part of it, anyway) and the chains which loop between the posts on our pier. I was out on my deck and noticed how the water was moving just enough to make interesting patterns rather than a straight reflection, so started shooting and then when reviewing the images chose the one which I found most intriguing. I knew immediately that this image needed to be B&W and so I went into the Nik Collection's Silver Efex Pro 3 and looked through the various presets, found one which I liked, made a couple of subtle adjustments to it, and voila!
