Tools of the trade in an ophthalmology office.... Yesterday while sitting in the exam room waiting for the doc to come in I couldn't resist pulling out the iPhone and taking a couple of shots. Usually the exam room is kept dark because the patient has just had their eyes dilated, but that wasn't the case for me, as I was there to see about what was causing one eye to be red, irritated and painful. That’s quite a beast of a lens! I shoot probably 90% at the long end (as most of my contributions suggest), which makes it hard for me to move past M43. The PL100-400 is almost always on my G9, and that combo is just this side of something I am willing to carry regularly. Even bumping up to APS-C really starts to pack on the pounds at the long end. If I look at FF, my back (and wallet) starts aching. I am curious how it would handle and how it would change my results though.Iphone 12 Pro Max (and some blown out highlights).
I really can't sneak around with this tank-of-a-lens. But anyway...

Some of the shots there are unbelievable if taken on phones. Just leaving it here in case anyone was interested.
