Because of lightning strikes we do have a lot of wildfires taking place in the interior of Alaska most summers, which has been the case for about a month now, so the rain is welcomed since it has been a dry summer. The weather changes quite rapidly too. For example, sometimes it can be cloudy and rainy for a few minutes, then all of the sudden it turns clear an sunny (that just happened a few minutes ago)

The photo was taken with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. It was in the shade and the beautiful metallic greenback doesn't show well of this Rufous Hummingbird.

Great, always like a corvid shot.
I had noticed his signature said something about leaving in a few days, but I thought it was a reference to the XPS that was also in his sig', like he was upgrading laptops or something. Based on his avatar, I think he left Apple and I guess the forum too. He could have stayed with us anyway!
Recently on another forum I visit, there was a user who left to the point that he went back and deleted several of his thread titles and comments, and then had his account deleted. It was really strange, but he had started rubbing several folks the wrong way with his comments. I don't think that's what's going on here, just strange to observe this twice in one week.
In a couple of his posts MtLoin 2020 had referred to leaving here on July 6th but maybe he decided to move up the date for whatever reason.... At first I wasn't sure if he meant MR in total or just the digital photography forum but then realized he meant that he was switching systems from Apple, using other computer equipment and software instead. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors!
