thank you. the smoke makes for poor air quality but fantastic lighting.
Yeah, even here in the Midwest, we've had the air quality issues to a lesser degree due to the high pressure bring things in from the NE, which is a very rare weather pattern here. Usually we get the joys of western wildfires blowing our way, and when that happens, it's golden hour pretty much all day long.

We (my wife and I) have been dealing with crazy wildfires for the past decade and because of it we have trained in firefighting and have created a firesafe council to raise money, grants, and do forrest/road/private property fire management (my wife alone has raised over $8 milj. this year already) together with government agencies to create a safer environment. Since we moved out to the boonies we have had 4 or 5 great forest fires that actually threatened us and have put us in crazy smoke at best. Tomorrow I'll post photos of a fire that erupted just 5 miles from out home/business. Since we are on the west coast we see stunning sunsets and during fire season they are even more enchanting for all the wrong reasons.
