Amazing what a new lens will do to a perspective on things. I've never been bothered much by bees... but my ability to remain in proximity to some other bugs when there is shot to be taken is starting to surprise me.

The marina at Whitehaven... I like the limited 'colour palette', so that the eye goes to the bird's subtle plumage, instead of being distracted by something more colourful elsewhere in the composition. In UK we'd call it a flycatcher (or, possibly, a warbler)...
