Love your stuff! This series is amazingly well done!

I love the look you get in your photos. Top stuff!

I agree with the other guys, this series of images is very nice. The post processing effects are beautiful. nice job!

Thanks everyone; it's nice to be appreciated, especially given the very high standard that's posted on this board every day.

@Phrasikleia: Lovely shot as usual. Some things never change (I was gone for several months and came back to your gorgeous landscapes).
Good to see you on FB. As much flack as it seems to get, it does end up serving a purpose (including promoting your work to otherwise untapped audiences that don't necessarily frequent photography forums).
I did much of the same recently (started a FB photography page) after I felt my work had finally progressed enough that it was worth sharing with the world at large. (at least that's what I tell myself).
Those of you who knew me here a year or two ago, you'll hopefully see the progression (dare I say improvement?) in my work since.

Sorry for the digression, but this forum was the first that I participated in upon starting up photography a few years back, and some of the mainstays around here have been a source of constant inspiration (hopefully you know who you are).

With that...back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Thanks for your kind words, Puckman! I too joined this forum before any others after I started considering the purchase of my first DSLR in 2008. The stuff that I was posting then was the sort that only a mother could love, but you have to start somewhere! I think a lot of people really advance a lot by participating in forums like this one, especially when asking for C&C and taking the feedback onboard. And yeah, forums can also be a great source of inspiration.

It's amazing to look back and think about how much has changed since 2008, both with the online photography world in general and with my own work. So it's nice to have a 'constant' to return to as a touchstone as time allows, and for me, this forum with its steadfast regulars is it. :)

My sentiments exactly! Very well said.

This is a re-processed photo from a year-or-so ago when I was in Ijen, in Indonesia. I want to say this is on Mount Bromo, but I can't guarantee that. Anyway, with their tremendously lax health and safety over there, you could walk up the rim of a steaming volcano (stairs built in to the side) and the just turn left or right at the top and walk around the rim. This was taken as I got to the top and saw a few people on their way back round. It was re-processed in the VSCo cam app on my iPhone.

I'm really proud of this one. This is an image of a beach in New York before sunrise during the last few days of winter. I wanted to capture the beautiful blue hues of the water and sky before sunrise and also give a sense of winter at the beach. This winter has been mentally tough for me because it has been so cold and I really can't spend too much time outside before my hands freeze up and I can no longer shoot. This image is a visual expression of how I've been feeling the last few months.
