Ghost city. A 2 second long exposure blurring people.
For class I have been experimenting with shooting distorted panos using a 14mm lens. After I finished up the pano work I decided to run out the memory card shooting a star trail segment. I believe this was a stack of 24 images shot at the following: 14mm, 20 seconds, ISO 3200, f-4. The white balance is set to tungsten, the sky and background are lit by a quarter moon and the foreground outcropping is lit by a tungsten light source. The sRGB color space crushed colors a bit but I was just playing around with this one.
An older photo, on a foggy afternoon.

Thank you! It's sometimes fun to include a reflection of myself in a street scene.I love this shot Alex. I think it's all the better because you've captured your reflection and of course, his expressive response.

Oh well done !!Haven't taken any pics lately so I thought I'd post a picture of one of mine that has been used in a promotional guide for St Albans Cathedral that was released this week.
I'm now a published photographer

Did you approach them or did they ask you?
Cheers

Congratulations! Great photograph.
Well done.
I visited the cathedral a few weeks back on my lunch break and took some photos then felt guilty that I didn't have any cash on me to leave the suggested £5 donation for the upkeep of the building so I sent them the photos and said if they felt they were any good they could use them. They emailed me back and said that they wanted to use that one for their quarterly what's on guide and that they'd credit me in the picture. They also used it on their Twitter feed.
It's only a pamphlet but I liked the fact that someone other than me gets to see one of my photos
Reminds me of warmer times. NiceBig sky sunset
I'm not sure you can Dale, but the post merge should work. I'm sure the mods will be understanding.Technical Question:
I want to set up a reply that has image quotes from several posts here. I've tried Multi Quote, but the first image is replaced by a link and that won't cut it with me. I want to talk about art, not some HTTP:BLAH BLAH... stuff. Can this be done?
Consecutive posts work, but sometimes I'm a bit slow on the keys these days. And I got busted by the Mods for that back in the day...

Just can't get this to show the images. Must be because there are two in one post. Nice final product. Here is the final pano that was taken prior to yesterday's star trail shot. It is a seven image stitch with distortion provided by the 14 mm lens.

The image will be displayed as a triptych with one 24 x 36 panel and two 16 x 24 panels. Here are the cut lines. There is a slight overlap between the panels to account for the frames.
