As noted yesterday when firing the glass, this is the end product. I made the bowl, single color giving it the translucent streaking, wife made the vase with the second coating over the base color with the multi color ironically called "Birthday." That date was also our grandchilds 6th birthday.
Can someone puleeeaaassseee throw me a biscuit?

Is glass blowing something you did before, or is this a first time.?
First time. Both son and daughter solved the 'what to get the parents' by purchasing Groupon experiences. Also resolved the mailing a package issue. I will say that the owner did the more critical work but I was actively involved with turning, blowing, firing, expanding, etc.
We never know what we will get. This is perhaps better than the oil painting class as we didn't have to show the end product to the entire class that painted the same scene (we were individual with the next 'students' waiting for us to finish). Other gifts include wildlife safari, helicopter in Alps, paddlewheel ship dinner cruise, walking tour of downtown restaurant samplings, and concert/dinner at Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna. Only one had to return was Bob Ross Workshop as shifted individual group sessions to "instructor training" multi-session series. That was actually for my wife and I was going to do some street/beach photography in that town while waiting for wife. Have no idea what will come next.

Is the Moscone Convention Center somewhere near that pic? I miss going to Macworld Expos in the 90s.... that was the golden age of Apple nerd pilgrimage. lol
