The National Center for Atmospheric Research's Mesa Lab in Boulder, a place I like to go and shoot (I've shown other images previously). The architect was IM Pei (he died in 2019 at 102!). Yesterday's shot was just off of the mesa looking south (to the left in this image). Interestingly, a few hours after taking these images (I was there in the morning), a large fire started in the valley you can see in yesterday's post, prompting the evacuation of 1200 homes. This area isn't too far from where the Marshall fire started on December 30 of last year burning through over 1000 homes in a matter of a few hours in the towns of Louisville and Superior. Luckily, while the winds were in the 30-50 mph range yesterday, they weren't the 115mph winds we saw during the Marshall fire. As of now, no structures have burned. The Mesa lab became the staging area for the firefighting crews.
Image is ISO 100, 1/125s, multiple images frame averaged (about 2.5 minutes of total time elapsed), a small bit of tilt on a ~28mm equivalent lens. After the fire dies down and I can get back up there, I hope to finally go behind the building to get some images showing it and the expanse of Boulder over the plains behind.
EDIT: Replaced the image with one where I preferred the white balance - the original seemed off to me with more greenish tint than I wanted. It's always good to step away from an edit and then come back to it.
