Pentax K10D - 1/6s - f/8.0 - ISO100 - 24mm

Beautiful! I love the second wave coming in, almost green, rolling with a force. The flare is positioned perfectly too :)

Here is another photo from my March vacation, a road in the Mojave desert, California.

Simply awesome. I assume you use a filter for these long exposure shots? If so, what kind/brand?

Since the shot was taken at 6pm and he's in Australia I would imagine he didn't need a filter. At that time of the day it was dark enough for that.

Speaking of dark enough, have you gotten a new tripod yet, TheReef?

Hvar, Croatia. Summer 2009.

Here's another unprocessed sunset photo, this time from Croatia (near Hvar). It was hard to get a photo that wasn't tilted, with the boat rocking and such.

Any comments would be great, and I do appreciate the comments posted on my other photo as well.

Here's the photo info:
Model: Canon PowerShot G7
ISO: n/a
Exposure: 1/160 sec
Aperture: 3.5
Focal Length: 16.8mm
Flash Used: No

Very nice!

One word: Breathtaking!
^ Yes the photos are very nice, but you need to quote them small (timg) and combine your comments into one post (multi-quote). Check the pdf tutorials I have linked to post #1 if you don't know how to do this.

I really love the colors and feel of this shot. Nice and warm with an intimate feel. The wide lens distorts the edges, but that comes with the territory.
