While at the Kennedy Presidential Library, I took this candid of my brother-in-law and young niece.

People pics are something that I've never really focused on before, so still have much to learn.

The focus is slightly off--challenging to manually focus @ f/1.4 with a moving target. I don't find the blur too objectionable, but that may be wishful thinking on my part.

Photo on ISO 320, f/13 at 1/350. My new
tripod was coming in May. My Sweetheart
encouraged me to get the new tripod. How
else could I not think of that with this

Lol. He's just as neurotic too!

He has the longest tongue in proportion to his body that I have ever seen. It is constantly hanging out and I'm convinced it's because there isn't sufficient room in his head to contain it. As you can see, his eyes are all squinty in that photo and I swear it's because his tongue is out. When it's in, his eyes are all bulgy and I reckon it's because his tiny little skull can't hold all three items comfortably.

She's a stunner. Your bird shots are really good.

Thanks AFB...much appreciated. :)

Awesome shot with a lot going on and so much to look at. A full series of night-time rooftop shots like this would be very cool…just watch your step up there. Well done Alex

I'm really loving everyone's photos here and thought I'd contribute, despite my lack of skills. This is technically from April but I haven't had a chance to take the camera out for May yet.

Taken from my front yard :p Slight sharpening and colour correction in Photoshop to remove the orange tint it originally had from dust in the air. As a recently self-taught (mostly trial and error) amateur I'm quite proud of this shot.
