Same setup as yesterday, different bird. It's amazing this one can stay aloft. Maybe I have too many feeders out...

Who ate all the pies! Excellent shot (as usual). Mine for today. Simple, but I liked it. Let me know your thoughts.

Something from Quebec for today, in anticipation of more travel-friendly weather that should arrive any day now.

Not the most spectacular shot, but as I review the photos taken that day, they all have this odd whiteness in the sky. It felt for most intents and purposes sunny, but photos make it seem almost overcast, with additional fluffy clouds below the whiteness. There must be an explanation for this, but I don't know enough about atmospherical sciences to determine it. :)

Such an awesome place (in the true sense of the word). I visited in 1999 and I really want to go back and take my wife to see it one day. That and the Barringer Crater, which was closing ten minutes after I arrived to see it and the officious man with a gun at the gate wouldn't let me in to have a quick look despite having driven for five hours to get there :(

On the fells today...

Another lovely shot Doylem.

Thanks for the kind words, Meister, AFB, and MacRy. Here is another one who has been snacking between meals. He's also having a bit of a bad hair day...

(*) As a disclaimer, contrary to my normal practice, I did use Pixelmator to expand the canvas size and extend the white background on this one. In the original photo, he was too close to the edge to get a crop to my liking.

Recent trip

A bit of a cheat as these were April photos, but only just had chance to go through them. Mix of Fuji X-E1 and X-T1 captures in the Dominican Republic
Any comments gratefully received!
