Only just picked up my DSLR on Friday, so haven't had chance really to get out and get some shots! I'm looking forward to posting some future pictures in this thread though, but for now here's one of the inside of my Volkswagen Beetle (haven't touched it in Photoshop, still working on how to use the camera first :D):

Welcome to the POTD thread!

Good capture Peter.

Great timing.

Thanks very much guys...enjoyed a really nice sunny day today in a couple parks and one conservation area.

EXIF on everything except for the aperture shows up for me. f/5ish?

Don't know why the aperture isn't showing correctly. It may depend on how it's read. I use a Safari plug-in and when I checked my shot using the plug-in, it showed everything but aperture.

Btw, it was f/8.0

Hope that's a new camera and you can get it checked-out under warranty ASKendrew...it's got your steering wheel on the wrong side. :)

My first trip to DC. I actually missed my flight out of Memphis to Chicago and ended up getting re-route to DC. I decided what the hell, might as well sightsee. I took this real quick with my iPhone.

Looks fine to me!

Think it's actually OK , he probably just flipped the negative ;)

What's a negative?

Whilst walking through this empty building in the CBD last night, I saw this doorway, which I had tried to capture on the previous visit, but didn't work out as I wanted on that first visit, without my tripod and being stuck on f/1.8 with my nifty-fifty lens. I feel much better about this second attempt.

And me! Must be something wrong with your computer Peter ;)

Yeah, looks fine from DownUnder, so that discounts it being a Northern Hemisphere thing! :p

I started to think that you guys are suffering some ill effect brought on by drinking warm beer but I'm fairly certain that's not practiced DownUnder.

Hmmm...I'll have to rethink this and study the matter further.
