Photo of the Day May 2014

Oh yes! :) It's a lovely camera, not a mark on it anywhere and hardly used. I noticed that the black finish is a bit different from the one on the X-E1. It's smoother and shinier, like a satin finish.

This one will be staying for a while :)

Very nice! Looking forward to some pics from that little beauty.

Mine for today on the tube.

Thanks! Looking forward to going out and taking some too! :)

I like this photo very much. I'm a sucker for photos with nice reflections and see you're putting the XF35mm to good use already! I'm reassured to notice you said yours isn't a very quiet one either, must be normal for that lens.

Thank you! Are you going to post any more photos of Istanbul? :)

Not the best weather this weekend for us getting out and about unfortunately is it? Hopefully you'll find something to shoot with it.

I saw that guy in my photo in the next tube carriage to mine and had to grab the shot as he was an interesting looking fella and the reflections of my carriage and his in both of our windows looked really cool. I'm glad it came out that well with some cropping.

I think you're safe with your lens as they do tend to be pretty noisy apparently. Something that Fuji addressed in later lens designs with quieter motors.

Jebus, I'm not having a coffee in that restaurant!

Nice shot though.

Rivits on a bridge crossing the Chicago River. If I remember right it was the Clark Street Bridge.

Very nice!

Stupid horse that wanted to be fed. "If I just tilt my head and open my mouth this should work...."
If it really wants to connect, it should work on its manners by opening its eyes (and get a basic understanding of gravity)

Another shot of a bee from last weekend. I prefer the look of the bumble bee's to these guys, but there was more of them around.Image20140502-_DSC1964 by apple fanboy1, on Flickr

I prefer your other bee shot. This one looks a little overexposed to my eyes. Also it doesn't appear to have a defined focal point.

The bumble bees are more photogenic aren't they. They're almost kind of cute.

Don't say that, I only picked mine up 6 weeks ago. I will be p---ed if it's released some time soon! Just my luck!
I hear you. I actually tried to purchase one a few days ago, that's when I encountered the shortage.

Really great shot MacRy and leaving colour in is the perfect choice for this one.

Amazing that something as simple as rivets on a bridge could be so interesting. Well seen and captured pilotkid.
