Musk Ox.jpg by mrkramer, on FlickrMusk Ox from a few days ago when I finally was able to get up close. I ended up cropping the image a bit to get him closer. I had the whole heard starting to stare at me so I decided I'd gotten close enough.

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to give a talk / presentation on my current jeans project. I had to pad it out and talk about other projects I had done to fill in time. but it was received very well.
Anyway, in putting it together I was reminded of a video I had put together for another meeting a few months back, this one was based on my shot selection / editing.

Wowww!.... that has to be double the horsepower that was available with the original six. That looks like a very nicely done customization. I wonder how it effects the handling? Did you get a chance to talk to the owner?Death Valley?

I don't crop much, if at all, but this scene felt cinematic to me. So, I gave it a 2.39:1 aspect ratio. Kind of a fun twist.

Ah, yes. I actually debated about that myself. It's a light in the parking garage. Part of me thought it'd be kind of cool, part of me thought viewers might get distracted by it. I appreciate the feedback!Love it!

Hawk Moth 3 by Everett Powers, on FlickrAt first we thought it was a small/baby hummingbird. Then my wife did some investigative internet work and learned it is a White-lined Sphinx Moth, or "Hawk Moth." We counted 7 in the garden at one time.
Something got in the way of my flowers today.
Nice. Love me some macro.
