Early this morning (12:36am) Clouds were extremely stubborn around Philly, but finally broke...briefly just before totality ended.
Every once in awhile someone poses and keeps on posing until I get the camera. The flickers haven't been able to figure out how to crack peanuts but do clean up the tidbits left by the various jays,

Unfortunately, the was the only pic I could get of the mountain lion mother as she quickly moved out of view. No time for anything but turning on camera and taking a shot thru 2 double pane windows at a 30 angle. 50 feet behind house.
Yeah, heard reports of mountain lion attack on livestock (goats) nearby shortly after this.

I know, right? Several different species of Katydid, and they all look like they have leaves for wings. This is an Angle Winged Katydid.
