Lake Coniston yesterday. Apologies folks there's going to be a lot of these over the next few days. Bear with...

Minted I think! Leica the camera brand of choice for lawyers and doctors.
Not so popular with Mrs @kenoh!
Well I'm neither of those things and I'm willing to bet that you earn more than I do.

I'm sure that a lot of folks spend just as much or more on new DSLRs than I paid used for my M9. Wish I was a Dr or Lawyer though - maybe then I could afford some Leica glass to go with it as that is sadly out of my reach and Mrs MacRy wouldn't be as forgiving of me spending 1k plus on a lens.

You've not met my boss! But in all honesty I can't complain. Had a nice pay rise and promotion last month and Mrs AFB lets me buy what I want.
That said I've taken more pictures of her cards and tags she makes than anything else theses days. And crafting isn't a cheap hobby!
But it keeps her occupied whilst I'm at work.
Only 3 of my lenses were new to me. Everything else came via a very hefty work discount.

Playing around with that Portrait Lighting. iPhone 8 Plus is killing it.
That's interesting, I've been trying, and trying to get shots of the dogs using Portrait Mode here and it won't give me the yellow circle for more than a half a second when I'm on Stage Light! This is since I did the latest iOS update this week. :(

It seem to work fine for me. Although dogs move a lot and I feel that you need a stable subject for the portrait mode to work properly.

Thanks. I’m trying it when they are sitting still, so it’s not movement. Will try it just on one of the other Portrait Modes and then apply Stage Light to it after the image is taken and see how that fares.
