That would have really grated ;)

Nice. I like what you did there.

Recently picked up a Leica M8. I'm loving every second of it so far.

I hate roses with a vengeance, especially at this time of the year! All of our neighbours grow roses, and they spray them with noxious chemicals so that the aphids end up at our place where we are gardening organically, and we just have to rely on the ladybird bugs to do their thing... We've tried garlic sprays and chilli sprays, but to no avail...

That said, they are beautiful subjects to photograph! :rolleyes:o_O

I have the worst ND filter in the world
And here I was thinking you had used the Portrait Mode on an iPhone X! ;)

Have you tried just using a hose on a high pressure setting? Then a bit of olive oil on the underside of leaves where they lay their eggs.

Have tried high pressure water jets, but the buggers come back pretty quickly! At the moment we can't do that as the plants are mostly seedlings. We have a lot of veggie beds, so painting on something would be pretty tedious and time consuming.

I have thought of releasing possums around the neighbourhood, they love to eat roses! No roses = no aphids! ;)

My daughter at a swim meet this weekend. An accidental image that was horribly underexposed on the camera back, but then on the computer I realized she was so well illuminated by the doors behind her. Framing is off, but that's what you get at swim meets when you have to sit in the middle to watch both boys and girls. I love how she is studying her time and figuring out what time she wants.
